54 percent of BMW drivers surveyed for a recent study state that connected car features are a deciding factor in their next car purchase.

Drivers of premium brands tend to generally lean towards connected cars, as shown by the definitely higher interest of Audi (53 percent) and Mercedes (41 percent) drivers. In comparison, only every third VW driver finds connected car applications important. 3,303 owners of passenger cars who were either driving a new car or planning to purchase a new car in the near future were surveyed.
